No.Condition Text
1.It is considered that the proposed variation of the holiday occupancy condition would, in terms of the Department of the Environment Circular 11/95, be impracticable because it would be difficult to monitor and require an intolerable degree of supervision by the Local Planning Authority and that approval would be tantamount to granting consent for the permanent occupation of the existing holiday flats. Such consent would be likely to result in a significant adverse effect on the character of this mainly holiday area by reason of noise, general disturbance and unneighbourly behaviour, as has occurred in the past. The proposal is therefore deemed to be contrary to Policy TR14A of the Modified Version of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan and prejudicial to the Council's objective to safeguard tourist accommodation and prevent unneighbourly uses.
