1.	The proposal to restrict the period of occupancy for these holiday units would create a prededent for other holiday units to obtain consent for periods of occupation of their choosing. The outcome would be a wide variety of occupancy period conditions which would detrimental to the interests of planning control. Policy TR2 of the Deposit Version of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan seeks to encourage continuing improvements to the existing provision of holiday accommodation in the area. This aim is best served by holiday occupancy conditions which allow a longer period of occupation throughout the year as this helps generate the revenue necessary to improve the holiday accommodation in order to meet increasing customer expectations. To permit the constriction of this occupation period would run contrary to the general aims of this policy.
