1.	Policy Hou 16 of the Deposit Version Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan states that in assessing proposals for development the Borough Council will have regard to the density of the surrounding area. Sub-division of plots will be resisted where it would be likely to lead to development out of character and scale with the surroundings. The proposal to provide a site for a new bungalow within the curtilage of 2 Heather Road, Belton is considered contrary to the above policy as it would result in a cramped form of development which would be out of character with the pattern of development in this area and detrimental to the amenities of the neighbouring property.
