| 1. | The proposed garage is considered out of keeping with the design of the dwelling to which it is associated by virtue of its excessive scale, over prominent position close to the roadside and asymetrical shape all of which contribute to a development which is considered inappropriate for the sensitive setting and contrary to Policy B 11 of the Broads Local Plan 1997 concerning design. |
| 2. | The size, height and position of the proposed garage would result in an unreasonable loss of amenity to the neighbouring dwelling and the development is therefore considered to be contrary to Policy H 11 of the Broads Local Plan 1997. |
