1.	Policy BNV4 of the Deposit Version of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan states that the Borough Council will not grant Listed Building Consent for partial demolition of a Listed Building if this would erode its character or compromise its architectural or historic integrity. The creation of an opening between the separate house is both intrinsically damaging to both properties and compromises the integrity of each individual building plan and for these reasons the proposal is considered to be contrary to the above policy.
