| 1. | The proposal constitutes an overdevelopment of the site which would be
lacking in adequate off-street car parking facilities contrary to Policy
TCM23 of the Deposit Version of the Borough-Wide Local Plan (which is the
subject of "Suggested Changes"), and where the amount of private amenity
space available would not produce a satisfactory living environment for
the future occupants of the dwellings. Furthermore, in terms of design
and external appearance, the proposal would be unsympathetic to the scale
and character of the existing building and other traditional development
in the vicinity, and would, thereby, be contrary to Policies UDN1, 3 and
5 of the above mentioned Local Plan. |
