1.	This permission expires on 31st March 1998 and unless on or before this date application has been made for an extension to the period of permission and such application is approved by the Local Planning Authority, the offices shall be removed from the site. The reason for the condition is:- In order to retain control over the building which is constructed of short lived materials and in the interests of the visual amenities of the locality.
2.	NOTES - Please read the following notes carefully:- the site is below highest recorded tide levels and could be at risk from flooding from breach or overtopping of the defences. The application area is approximately 240 metres from aformer landfill site which operated in the 1970's and accepted waste which are likely to generate landfill gas. The developer must satisfy the District Council that no landfill gas is present at the site and should as a precaution check for its presence to the undertaking of any works. As a minimum this check should consist of inserting hollow perforated tubes into the ground to a depth of at least 1 metre along the boundary closest to the landfill site. Portable gas detection equipment should then monitor the landfill gas.
