| 1. | The proposed (two-storey) dwelling would be unsympathetic to, and out of
character with, the adjoining properties which comprise dwellings of
single-storey construction and would, thereby, be detrimental to the
visual amenities of the locality. Furthermore, the proposal would, by
virtue of the creation of first floor rooms together with the consequent
windows, introduce a degree of overlooking of adjacent private garden
areas which, at present, does not exist. Consequently, an unacceptable
element of unneighbourliness and lowering of standards would result. |
