1.	In order to ensure that the provision of private residential homes are spread throughout the District and to avoid a concentration in any particular area which would result in an over-provision in that area and change its character,the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan Deposit Version states that the the number of residential homes will be limited to 10% of the properties in any one block or a lesser percentage if the total provision is shown to over burden the Social and Medical Healthcare Services.The proposal to use two properties as a residential home for the elderly would by virtue of the number of existing homes in the immediate vicinity,be contrary to the provisions of the local plan and detrimental to the character of the area.
