The proposals involve the introduction of holiday accommodation outside of any existing holiday accommodation site and for this reason, and also because it would result in a broad spread of development in the countryside of significant damage to the landscape character of the area, they are considered to be contrary to the policies of the statutory Great Yarmouth South West Area Local Plan 1992, the approved Norfolk Structure Plan 1993 and the Suggested Changes Report of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan 1996.
