| 1. | The maximum luminance of the signs shall not exceed the following :- a) the projecting sign - 1000 cd/m2. b) the fascia sign - 1600 cd/m2. A minimum clearance of 2.4 metres shall be maintained between the projecting sign and the adjacent footpath. The reason for the condition is :- In the interests of highway safety. |
