1.	The proposed flag poles are considered to be advertisements which are detrimental to the amenities of the area the general characteristics of which are of a rural nature. The site is within an area of Landscape Important to the Broadland Scene, as defined in the Deposit Version of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan, and the proposed flag poles are considered contrary to Policies NNV2 and NNV4 of this Plan on account of the detrimental effect they would have on the landscape character and amenities of this area.
