By virtue of their size, design and location, the proposed signs, i.e. A, B and C, would constitute unduly obtrusive features in the street scene which would be detrimental to the visual amenities of the area. Sign G would, by reason of its size and positioning, constitute an unduly conspicuous and discordant feature, and an unwarranted intrusion, in this area of mixed holiday and residential accommodation to the detriment of the visual amenities of the locality.
