| 1. | The site of the proposal forms part of an existing private parking court
and landscaped area immediately in front of Nos. 25, 27, 29 and 31 Dover
Court. The erection of the garage/boat store in this location would, in
terms of outlook, detract from the visual/residential amenities of the
residents of the terrace at present derived from the openess of the area.
Furthermore, the proposal, if permitted, could set a precedent for the
erection of garages, or other buildings, on other car parking spaces and/or
associated amenity areas within the estate to the detriment of residential
and visual amenity. |
