The proposal to relax the requirements of condition 3 of planning permission no. 06/92/1019/F to permit traffic to exit from the site onto Church Road and for the vehicles travelling south along Church Road turning into the site, together with the associated removal of the signs indicating these requirements would result in conditions detrimental to highway safety The situation regarding visibility from the access onto Church Road is unchanged since the redevelopment of the filling station. The level of visibility to the south of the exit does not satisfy the recommendation of PPG13 and the egress of vehicles is likely to have an adverse effect upon highway safety and freeflow of traffic on Church Road.
