1.	The proposal fails to meet all the criteria set out in GDPO criteria A.1 and A.4. Section A.1 paragraph J(iii) & paragraph Ja require the enlarged part of the dwellinghouse to not extend beyond a wall forming a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse and would not have a width greater than half the width of the original dwellinghouse. The extension extends outwards from the rear of the dwelling. At approximately 1.9m from the rear, the extension is proposed to extend westwards to increase the width for the rest of the rear extension by approximately 20cm. The extension therefore extends beyond a side wall of the original dwellinghouse and is more than half the width of the original house. An application for planning permission would therefore be required. The proposal therefore fails to meets the provisions of Schedule 2 Part 1 Class A of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) and is therefore not considered Permitted Development.
