| 1. | The development must be begun not later than three years beginning with the date of this permission.
The reason for the condition is :-
Required to be imposed pursuant to Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. |
| 2. | The development shall be carried out in accordance with the following plans and details received by the Local Planning Authority:
-Block Plan Gorleston Old Cemetery 02 dated September 2025, received on 26/09/2025;
-Picture 001 dated 29 August 2025, received 26/09/2025;
-Location Plan Gorleston Old Cemetery Rev A dated 29 September 2025, received 30/09/2025;
-Picture 01 dated 25 September 2025, received 30/09/2025;
-Email titled Old Cemetery Gatehouse planning applications - CCTV (06/25/0788/F and 06/25/0789/LB) from Michael Leeds dated 6th October 2025, received 06/10/2025.
In particular, the CCTV camera and junction unit shall be installed in strict accordance with the methods set out in the submitted Heritage Statement dated 29th September 2025, received 30/09/2025.
The reason for the condition is:-
For the avoidance of doubt of what has been approved and in the interests of proper planning. |
| 3. | All original external and internal historic features, part of the special character of the heritage asset (including buttresses, brickwork, joinery of historic importance, etc) should be preserved and protected from any damage throughout the works.
Any damaged fabric should be repaired in a like for like manner with relevant matching materials and techniques within 28 days of the occurrence of damage, to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority.
The reason for the condition is:-
To protect the special architectural and historic interest and integrity of the building as a heritage asset under Section 16 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. |
| 4. | INFORMATIVE NOTE:
You are reminded that the original historic fabric of the listed building should be retained unless specifically authorised for removal by the Council as part of a listed building consent. Where any historic fabric is found to be in poor condition, repair on a like-for like basis could be undertaken by competent workers, with the minimum amount of intervention to the historic fabric. You are reminded that the installation of new internal and external lighting, service routes and risers fixed to the building will in most cases require listed building consent. Any proposals for these particular works must be first approved by the Council as part of a listed building consent before they are installed within the listed building. |
