1.	This tree is of amenity value to the area due to its size and presence being highly visible from the highway and pavement. No documentary evidence in the form of photographs or reports has been submitted to substantiate the 'description of work' stated in the Tree Works application form and the Councils Tree Officer cannot positively identify the ingress of Armillaria mellea (Honey Fungus) at the tree base and at root plate, and can see no evidence of crown dieback. As such, there is no compelling reason to fell this tree, and therefore the application fails to comply with Core Strategy (2015) Policies CS09 and CS11 and Local Plan Part 2 (2021) Policy E4. The application is refused.
