1. | The development must be begun not later than three years beginning with the date of this permission.
The reason for the condition is:-
The time limit is imposed pursuant to Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. |
2. | The development hereby permitted shall be carried out in accordance with the following plans and information received by the Local Planning Authority on 10 January 2025:
· Site Location Plan; drawing reference: Location Plan- Sep. 24 ref: PP-13396772v1
· Proposed Specification - photograph image of memorial plaque with engraving overlaid spelling 'GRIMMER L.'.
The reason for the condition is:-
For the avoidance of doubt, to confirm the details which have been approved, and in the interests of proper planning. |
3. | The proposed engraving shall match the existing font, size, depth, and style of the existing inscriptions on the memorial the subject of this permission.
The reason for this condition is:-
To preserve the historical integrity of the memorial. |
4. | All original historic features, part of the special character of the heritage asset should be preserved and protected from any damage throughout the works. Any damaged fabric should be repaired in a like for like manner with relevant matching materials and techniques, within 28 days of the occurrence of damage, to the satisfaction of the Local Planning Authority.
The reason for this condition is:-
To ensure the continued protection of the special architectural and historic interest and integrity of the building in accordance with the Great Yarmouth Core Strategy (2015), policy CS10 and the duty imposed by Section 66 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. |
5. | STATEMENT OF POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT: In dealing with this application Great Yarmouth Borough Council has actively sought to work with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner. |
