| 1. | The development shall be carried out in accordance with the following plans received by the Local Planning Authority on the 7th October 2024:
Site Location Plan; drawing reference: 8882-LP Rev.E
Proposed Site Plan; drawing reference: 8882-02 Rev.B
Safari Tent Floor Plans and Elevations: drawing reference: 8882-03 Rev.A
and the development shall be carried out in accordance with the High Level Noise Management Plan (inacoustic) received on the 27th January 2025.
The reason for the condition is:-
For the avoidance of doubt of what has been approved and in the interests of proper planning. |
| 2. | The safari tents hereby approved shall be moved to their approved location in their entirety (as shown on plan 8882-02 Rev.B) by no later than the 11th April 2025 and shall remain thereafter in this location for the lifetime of the development.
The reason for the condition is :-
To mitigate impacts on neighbouring guests in accordance with Core Strategy (2015) Policy CS9 and Local Plan Part 2 (2021) Policy A1. |
| 3. | The High Level Noise Management Plan (inacoustic) shall be be made available to all occupiers of the site and management and staff thereof. The development shall continue to be operated thereafter in accordance with the High Level Noise Management Plan in perpetuity.
The reason for the condition is :-
To mitigate impacts on neighbouring guests with respect to noise and disturbances in accordance with Core Strategy (2015) Policy CS9 and Local Plan Part 2 (2021) Policy A1. |
| 4. | By no later than the 12th May 2025 details in written and drawn form of the means by which electric vehicle charging shall be made available shall be submitted to and approved by the local planning authority. The works shall accord to the approved scheme and shall be installed within 6 months of the condition being discharged and retained in the approved form thereafter.
The reason for the condition is: -
To allow provision for the demand for electric vehicle charging within the lifetime of the development; in line with the requirements of the adopted Great Yarmouth Local Plan Part 2 (2021) Policy I1. |
| 5. | The approved units of accommodation shall be used for holiday purposes only and shall not be used at any time as a person's sole or principal residence. The applicant shall maintain a logbook detailing visitors staying at the holiday lets and the period of time for which they are staying. The logbook shall be completed for the duration of the use of the premises as holiday lets, and shall be made available for officers from the Local Planning Authority to view at all times.
The reason for the condition is :-
To ensure the holiday units are not used as permanent residential accommodation in accordance with policy L2 from the adopted Great Yarmouth Local Plan Part 2 (2021). |
| 6. | STATEMENT OF POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT: In dealing with this application Great Yarmouth Borough Council has actively sought to work with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner. |
