1. | The development must be begun not later than three years beginning with the date of this permission.
The reason for the condition is :-
The time limit condition is imposed in order to comply with the requirements of Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. |
2. | The development shall be carried out in accordance with the following revised plans received by the Local Planning Authority on the 18th December 2023:
- Location Plan, Proposed Elevations and Proposed Floor Plans - Drawing Ref: P01 Rev.C
The reason for the condition is:-
For the avoidance of doubt. |
3. | The approved units of accommodation shall be used for holiday purposes only and shall not be used at any time as a person's sole or principal residence. The applicant shall maintain a logbook detailing visitors staying within the hotel rooms and the period of time for which they are staying. The logbook shall be completed for the duration of the use of the premises as holiday accommodation, and shall be made available for officers from the Local Planning Authority to view at all times.
The reason for the condition is :-
To ensure the holiday unit is not used as permanent residential accommodation in accordance with policy L1 from the adopted Great Yarmouth Local Plan Part 2 (2021). |
4. | No use of the holiday accommodation hereby approved shall take place until such time that the water efficiency measures (as detailed in the Water Efficiency Statement dated 08/05/2024) have first been installed in their entirety and made operational for use. These measures shall be retained for the lifetime of the development.
The reason for the condition is :-
To ensure that a water efficiency measure of 110 litres per person per day can be achieved for the lifetime of the development; in accordance with Local Plan Part 2 (2021) Policy E7. |
5. | REASON FOR APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION :-
The proposal meets the aims of Core Strategy (2015) Policy CS8. |
6. | STATEMENT OF POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT: In dealing with this application Great Yarmouth Borough Council has actively sought to work with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner.
It is hereby acknowledged that the application has been accompanied by the appropriate and necessary financial contributions for GIRAMS Habitat Impacts Mitigation amounting to £442.34 received on the 09-05-24. |
