| 1. | Condition 3 requires details of the means of foul water and sewage disposal have been submitted to and agreed in writing with the local planning authority. The development shall be carried out in accordance with the details as agreed prior to the development first being brought into use, and shall be retained as such thereafter. The application was supported by details of a foul water - wastewater treatment plant (Harlequin CAP12 Wastewater Treatment Plant) as shown on Drawing No. 37 dated May 2023 including the location of the installation to be served by field drainage. The details are acceptable and are hereby approved however this condition can only be discharged in part as the development has to be undertaken in accordance with the approved details. |
| 2. | NOTES - Please read the following notes carefully:- Discharge of swimming pool water - Swimming pool backwash can potentially cause a pollution risk to groundwater or watercourses. A system should be designed and specified by a civil engineering consultant with the necessary experience in hydrology. All discharges to land or sewers will require consent and the operator will need to seek advice and consent from the Environment Agency and/or Anglian Water depending on where discharge occurs. Any system used to make swimming pool water safe for discharge must be reviewed and passed by the relevant authority. |
