No.Condition Text
1.The development must be begun not later than three years beginning with the date of this permission. The reason for the condition is :- The time limit condition is imposed in order to comply with the requirements of Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
2.The development shall be carried out in accordance with the application forms and the following plans and documents: - Location plan at scale 1:1250 (application site outlined in red) - Plan Reference Number: TQRQM23079175648261 - Plans & Elevations existing and proposed - Revised block plan of site and email from applicant received 31 May 2023 relating to use of both buildings. The reason for the condition is:- For the avoidance of doubt.
3.Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Use Classes Order 1987 (as amended) (or any Order revoking or re-enacting that Order) the application site shall only be used for the internal display and sale of motor cars and associated employee and customer parking relating thereto and for no other purpose. For the avoidance of doubt, no vehicles shall be displayed for sale in any areas external to the two buildings the subject of this permission. The reason for the condition is:- To enable the local planning authority to retain control over any future changes of use of the application site in the interests of local amenities and highway safety by ensuring the use of the site is limited to the scale of development proposed in the application and considered accordingly, in accordance with LPP1 Policy CS16 and LPP2 Policy A1.
4.The motor car display and sales use hereby permitted shall at all times be operated on the basis of all customer(s) visits to the site being 'by prior appointment only' and there shall be no unscheduled walk-in customer visits allowed at any time. The reason for the condition is :- In order to control the number and frequency of customer movements to and from the site in the interests of highway safety and traffic movement in accordance with LPP1 Policy CS16.
5.No servicing or repair of motor cars shall occur on the application site at any time. The reason for the condition is :- In the interests of the amenities of existing and future residents in accordance with LPP2 Policy A1
6.Means of vehicular access to and egress from the application site shall be derived from and to the A149 Norwich Road via the existing Nova Scotia Farm access to the west of the application site only. The reason for the condition is :- In the interests of highway safety and traffic movement in accordance with LPP1 Policy CS16.
7.STATEMENT OF POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT: In dealing with this application Great Yarmouth Borough Council has actively sought to work with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner.
