1.APPROVAL IN FULL of condition Condition 50 states: No part of the Residential development hereby permitted shall be occupied prior to implementation of the Interim Residential Travel Plan referred to in condition 49 above. During the first year of occupation an approved Full Residential Travel Plan based on the Interim Residential Travel Plan shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority in consultation with the Highway Authority. The approved Full Residential Travel Plan shall be implemented in accordance with the timetable and targets contained therein and shall continue to be implemented as long as any part of the development is occupied subject to approved modifications agreed by the Local Planning Authority in consultation with the Highway Authority as part of the annual review. The reason for the condition is : - To ensure that the development offers a wide range of travel choices to reduce the impact of travel and transport on the environment. This discharge of condition application was supported by: a) Residential Travel Plan produced by A to Better (unreferenced), dated January 2019. A residential travel plan is a strategy to limit the impact of vehicular traffic and to encourage and facilitate access to a site, taking into account the challenges and opportunities of the site and the needs of the residents. The residential travel plan submitted as support for the discharge of condition presents a range of actions that will be undertaken to support the use of sustainable travel modes such as walking, cycling, public transport and car sharing. The Full Residential Travel Plan is hereby approved and Norfolk County Highways are happy for the condition to be discharged and note that the condition requires the Travel Plan to be in place for the life of the development. Condition 50 can be discharged in FULL and the approved Full Residential Travel Plan shall be implemented in accordance with the timetable and targets contained therein and shall continue to be implemented as long as any part of the development is occupied subject to approved modifications agreed by the Local Planning Authority in consultation with the Highway Authority as part of the annual review.
