| 1. | Condition 5 is NOT discharged. Condition 5 requires the details of the windows to be installed to be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority and to be installed in accordance with the approved details prior to the first occupation of the building. This discharge of condition application was supported by: 1. Email from CJ Bryant (12 April 2023 20:35) confirming in writing the proposed changes to the windows (to the front) with all other windows being like for like replacements. 2. Floor Plan (unreferenced; received on the 13th April 2023) showing the positioning of the windows 3. Photo montage (unreferenced; received on the 13th April 2023) showing the existing windows 4. Order acknowledgement - including specification and plan of the window (Job reference BRAYANT part 2; received in the 31st March 2023. The details of the four large windows to the principal elevation are not considered to be in keeping with the character of the chapel and do not reflect the existing rhythm and proportion of the existing windows and therefore would have a detrimental impact on the appearance of the building. Additionally, the arched windows do not appear to have glazing bars which were indicated on the approved drawings. Details of all other windows to be replaced have not been provided, either in drawn form or confirmation of openings, glazing bars or materials. Insufficient information has therefore been submitted in this respect in order to maintain the visual appearance of the building. This condition cannot be discharged and is REFUSED. |
