1.	The sign is proposed within a landscaped highway verge on the south-east side of a short section of dual carriageway between two roundabouts located in between Pasteur Road and the A47 Trunk Road where only authorised traffic signs exist. The advertisement display area is quite large measuring 2.438 metres across by 1.219 metres deep and standing to an overall height of 2.0 metres and will be a prominent feature that will adversely affect the visual amenity of the area also leading to unwarranted commercialisation of the highway verge and which would be harmful to the surrounding character of the area. As such, the proposal is contrary to Core Strategy Policy (2015) CS09 and Local Plan Part 2 (2021) Policy A3.
