1.	Condition 17 states - Prior to the first occupation, a 'lighting design strategy for biodiversity' shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The strategy shall: a) Identify those areas/features on the site that are particularly sensitive for bats and that are likely to cause disturbance in or around their breeding sites and resting places or along important routes used to access key areas of their territory, for example foraging, and b) Show how and where external lighting will be installed (through provision of appropriate lighting contour plans and technical specifications) so that it can be clearly demonstrated that areas to be lit will not disturb or prevent the above species using their territory or having access to breeding sites, resting places or feeding areas. All external lighting shall be installed in accordance with the specifications and locations set out in the strategy, and these shall be maintained thereafter in accordance with the strategy. Under no circumstances should any other external lighting be installed without the prior consent of the Local Planning Authority. The above condition was partially discharged by 06/21/0662/CD which approved the lighting strategy details in relation to the biodiversity requirements for the site. The lighting design strategy as approved under ref 06/21/0662/CD has now been installed/completed in accordance with the approved strategy and the developer has applied for confirmation of condition discharge as installation is complete. The installation of the external lighting has been completed in accordance with the details submitted and approved under 06/21/0662/CD. The development shall be maintained thereafter in accordance with the approved lighting design strategy for biodiversity details. Condition 17 has been fully discharged.
