The proposal meets the criteria for domestic additions set out in saved Policy HOU18 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan. |

The lantern lights should contain blinds so that there is no additional light pollution in an area known for its dark skies and would reduce the potential disturbance to bats which are a protected species and are known to roost in the area. |
