1.The development must be begun not later than three years beginning with the date of this permission. The reason for the condition is :- The time limit condition is imposed in order to comply with the requirements of Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
2.The development shall be carried out in accordance with the plans A21-0001, 001, and 004 received by the Local Planning Authority on 4 June 2021 and amended drawing 003A showing the obscure glass screen to the east side at first floor level received by the LPA on 30 June 2021. The reason for the condition is :- For the avoidance of doubt.
3.The glass screen at first floor level referred to in condition 2 above shall be obscured to the extent that no view in either direction shall be available through it, (the submitted description is "diffused") and shall be erected before the raised platform/balcony is first used. The reason for the condition is :- For clarity with regard to degree of obscuring and to ensure provision before use to secure privacy for he neighbour
4.REASON FOR APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION :- The proposal meets the criteria for alterations and extensions to buildings set out in saved Policies HOU18 and BNV18 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan and Adopted Core Strategy CS9 and emergent policy GY7.
5.STATEMENT OF POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT: In dealing with this application Great Yarmouth Borough Council has actively sought to work with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner.
