1.	This proposal has the potential to overhang the part of the highway dedicated to foot traffic with a risk to safety considered contrary to policy CS9 of the Great Yarmouth Borough Council Core Strategy, insufficient detail has been provided to assess this fully.
2.	The proposal has potential to cause harm to the character of this late 19th or early 20th century timber shopfront and harm to the designated heritage asset that is the Conservation Area. The proposal is therefor considered contrary to Core Strategy policy CS10 where proposals should conserve or enhance the asset, and the NPPF where paragraph 189, where sufficient information is required of an applicant to make accurate assessment.
