| 1. | Any vehicular access gates/bollard/chain/other means of obstruction shall be hung to open inwards only, shall be set back, and thereafter shall be retained a minimum distance of 4.5 metres from the near channel edge of the adjacent carriageway. The reason for the condition is :- In the interests of highway safety enabling vehicles to safely draw off the highway before the gates/obstruction is opened. |
| 2. | No part of the proposed structure (including its foundations) shall overhang or encroach upon highway land and no gate shall open outwards over the highway. The reason for the condition is :- Reason: In the interests of highway safety. |
