1.TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (TREE PRESERVATION)(ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2012 TREE PRESERVATION ORDER TPO 3 of 1976 TREES AT 5 Primrose Close, Ormesby St Margaret, GREAT YARMOUTH NR29 3RD Application Reference Number: 06/21/0279/TRE I refer to your application of 13 April 2021 under the above Tree Preservation Order for consent to carry out the following work: TREES PROPOSAL W1 - group of Poplar Trees. The Borough Council have considered your application and have decided to grant the following consent: CONSENT DETAILS W1 - group of Poplar Trees - pollard to a height of 4 metres to reduce shading and to make trees more stable. This consent is subject to these conditions: (1) The work must be carried out within two years of the date of this consent notice and may only be carried out once. Reason: The time limit condition is imposed in order to comply with the requirements of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by the Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation) (England) Regulations 2012. (2) The work is to be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998:2010 (Recommendations for Tree Work). Reason: To ensure an acceptable standard of work, thereby minimising possible damage and decay/disease in the future. Tree work should be carried out by trained, competent and appropriately insured arborists, to a good standard to comply with BS 3998 Recommendations for Tree Work. Photos of the tree after the consented works have taken place are required. Please forward these via email or post. If you would like any further information about our decision please contact chris Green 01493 846355, quoting the reference number given above. Protected Species: The applicant should note that under the terms of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, it is an offence to disturb nesting birds, bats their roosts and other protected species. You should note that work hereby granted consent does not override the statutory protection afforded to these species and you are advised to seek expert advice if you suspect that nesting birds, bats and other species will be disturbed. Property Rights: The applicant should note that this consent does not affect any private property rights and therefore does not authorise the carrying out of any work on land or entering land outside his/her control. If such works are required, it will be necessary for the applicant to obtain the landowners consent before the work starts. I trust this information is of assistance to you.
