| 1. | By virtue of the proposed amendment to the height, and rear elevation's proximity to the boundary, the dwelling at plot 1, is considered unacceptable. The changes to south facing first floor window position of the dwelling at plot 2 is also considered unacceptable. As such the proposed amendment to design is considered to be contrary to saved policy HOU7 of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan (2001) and adopted policy CS 9 of the Great Yarmouth Local Plan - Core Strategy. The proposed amendment to the design would see the dwelling at plot 1 being moved to within an unacceptable distance of the boundary resulting in the dwelling at plot 1 providing a poor outlook and amenity space for future residents. Plot 2 introduces a window in the south elevation, and brings this first floor opening closer to the neighbouring property to the south. This would result in an unacceptable degree of overlooking to neighbouring residents property and gardens when compared against the approved scheme. |
