1.The land involved in the application is currently a grassed area that is used for overflow parking when the existing car park is full, the proposal will result in the hard surfaced car park extending along the rear boundaries of two of the adjoining dwellings on Warren Road with a row of parking spaces immediately to the rear of those dwellings. The potential increase in parking and the proximity of the spaces to the rear boundaries is likely to result in noise and disturbance to the occupiers of those dwellings from additional traffic movements and manoeuvring of cars. No. 31 Warren Road currently enjoys an open and uninterrupted view at the rear, the proposed establishment of a formal car park to the rear of that dwelling will result in a loss of outlook that would have a significant adverse effect on the residential amenities of that dwelling. In addition to this the proposal will result in a loss of green, open space contrary to the aims of Policy CS11 of the Great Yarmouth Local Plan: Core Strategy which seeks to improve the natural environment and avoid any harmful impacts on its biodiversity.
