1.The advertisement hereby approved shall be constructed and located in accordance with the forms and plans received by the Local Planning Authority on the 11th February 2014. All existing signage shown on the forms, plans and supporting documents submitted as part of this application marked as to be removed shall be removed prior to the erection of the signage hereby approved. The reason for the condition is :- For the avoidance of doubt and to ensure the advertisements do not constitute a proliferation of advertisements.
2.The level of illumination of the illuminated sign shall not at any time exceed 500cd/m2. No part of the source of the illumination shall be directly visible to users of the adjacent public highway. The reason for the condition is :- In the interests of highway safety.
3.This development involves a sign that may affect the public highway. The applicant should note that the Norfolk County Council as Highway Authority reserves the right under the general provisions of Common Law and Section 152 of the Highways Act 1980 to seek the removal of any sign causing an obstruction or nuisance, or which obscures or hinders the ready interpretation of a road traffic sign. 4.REASON FOR APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION :- The proposal meets the criteria for advertisements set out in Policy BNV22 of the adopted Great Yarmouth Borough-wide Local Plan.
5.STATEMENT OF POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT: In dealing with this application Great Yarmouth Borough Council has actively sought to work with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner, in accordance with paragraphs 186 and 187 of the NPPF.
