1.	It is considered that the proposal to increase the height of the existing 2.1 metre high brick wall by the addition of timber trellis of a height of 1.05 metres would create an unacceptable imapct on the visual amenities of the occupiers of the nearby properties to the north of the site on Garfield Terrace. The varied heights of the brick wall and fence would create an incongruous and discordant feature within the immediate environment that does not enhance the surrounding environment and would create a jarring appearance to the detriment of the character of the area in conflict with the provisions of policies BNV18 & HOU18 of the adopted Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan.
