1.	Given the refusal of the full application for the erection of four three-bedroomed houses (Ref:06/12/0169/F), it is considered that the demolition of the existing building would be premature, until such time as a suitable scheme has been accepted. Notwithstanding this the partial demolition and alteration of the existing wall at the front eastern side of the site is considered unacceptable as it would constitute the loss of an imposing, valuable and aesthetic asset within the King Street Conservation Area contrary to the provisions of policy BNV10 of the adopted Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan, which seeks to preserve buildings or structures that make a positive contribution to the character or appearance of the area.
