1.	Policy TCM13 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan states that development will not be permitted where it would endanger highway safety. The proposed garage is contrary to this Policy by virtue of the fact that visibility at the access onto Riverside Road is severely restricted in both directions which would be likely to cause danger and hazard to users of the public highway and would result in conditions detrimental to highway safety. In addition, the proposed garage is shown being built adjacent to the public highway leaving no manoeuvring space available to open or close the garage door without obstruction of the adjacent highway.
