The proposed retention of the signage, which does not relate to the use of the premises, installed above the existing sign for the restaurant, constitutes an unduly obtrusive feature and proliferation of signage in this open location in the countryside and would be detrimental to the visual amenities of the locality. The proposal for the retention of the display of the advertisement is considered contrary to Policies BNV22 and BNV25 of the adopted Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan.
