No.Condition Text
1.The proposed change of use of a ground floor room to a hairdressing salon is considered to be unnacceptable by virtue of the detrimental impact it would have on the amenities of local residents by virtue of the customers using the premises and the additional traffic movements associated with the operation of the business in this small cul-de-sac would create significant disturbance to these residents.
2.The applicant has not demonstrated sufficient justification to the Local Planning Authority that the need for the proposed development could not be met within adjacent commercial centres, such as Bradwell and Gorleston where such retail uses could be accommodated.
3.Therefore for the reasons given above the proposed change of use of part of the dwelling to a hairdressers is contrary to the provisons of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan, in partuicular policy EMP19.
