1.	The proposed change of use of the land for the storage of ten shipping containers would constitute a visually intrusive form of development which would significantly detract from the essential open character of the landscape. This area is designated as being 'Landscape Important to the Coastal Scene' and as 'Landscape Important to the Setting of Settlements' in the adopted Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan. Moreover, it is considered that, in respect of farm diversification, the proposal involves an inappropriate re-use of farm land. For these reasons the proposal is contrary to Policies NNV3, NNV5 and NNV17 of the aforementioned Local Plan.
