| 1. | The proposal involves an extension which, due to its design, massing and external appearance, is incompatible with the scale and features of the existing building, resulting in detriment to the character of the building.
In addition the overall design and massing of the extension would have a significant and detrimental impact on the amenities and general living conditions of adjacent occupants by virtue of over shadowing and loss of light.
Therefore the proposed extension is considered to contrary to the provisions of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan and, in particular, policies HOU18 and BNV18. |
