1.	The siting of a high-level sign on the front elevation of the building in this prominent location would cause significant distraction to users of the public highway and would have an unacceptable impact on the character of the Conservation Area, additionally, it would be an alien feature which would detract from the surrounding listed buildings to a significant and unacceptable degree. Therefore the high level sign is considered to contrary to the provisions of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan and, in particular, policies BNV22 & BNV25.
