1.	The proposed signage (and in particular the No Entry/ No Exit signs) must be positioned on land under the jurisdiction of the applicant, clear of the highway boundary.St no time shall any light source shall be directly visible to drivers using the adjacent highway and the maximum luminance of the proposed signage shall not exceed 800cd/m2. The reason for the condition is :- In order to maintain the safety of all highway users. NOTE: The Highway Authority reserves the right under section 152 of the Highways act 1980 and under the general provisions of Common Law to remove any sign causing distraction, dazzle, obstruction or nuisance.
