| 1. | The proposal is contrary to the provisions of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local Plan including, in particular, policy HOU18. |
| 2. | The proposed extension constitutes an unacceptable form of development as by virtue of the scale and appearance of the development it would have an undesirable impact on the adjacent dwelling which will generate loss of privacy and loss of light which would prove detrimental to exisitng living conditions. |
| 3. | Notwithstanding the above the height of the proposed extension would create an overbearing effect close to the boundary of the adjacent dwelling and would be detrimental to the existing amenities of the neighbouring occupants. Additionally the windows in the proposed first floor elevation would lead to a significant amount of overlooking and would therefore be contrary to policy HOU18. |
