| 1. | The proposed erection of five separate stable blocks extending for a considerable distance along the eastern boundary of the site constitutes an uduly prominent feature which will adversely effect the character of the area contrary to the aims of Policy NNV2 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan which identifies the area as Landscape Important to the Broadland Scene. It is also considered by the Local Planning Authority that given the form of development it does not comply with Policy BNV20 of the Borough-Wide Local Plan in that design proposed is of an appropriate standard in exposed rural location. Furthermore the provision of five timber buildings each comprising of two stables tack room and hay store which gives the potential for a commercial use on the site is not considered suitable for any such activity given the restricted nature of the access and the consequent impact such a use would have in this rural area. |
