1.	The Local Planning Authority considers that the proposed erection of a terrace of houses running east to west across the site would have a significant adverse impact upon the residential amenity of the existing dwellings to the south and north of the site by virtue of overlooking and loss of privacy to those adjacent properties. In addition, development of the site in the manner proposed would significantly and adversely alter the character of the area and local environment. The proposal is therefore considered to be contrary to Policy HOU15 and Criteria (A) and (E) of Policy HOU7 of the Great Yarmouth Borough Wide Local 2001 which seeks to prohibit such development.
