| 4. | REFUSAL OF CONSENT TO DISPLAY ADVERTISEMENT Part 1 - Particulars of application For:- Illuminated sign on eastern elevation of building. Part 2 - The Great Yarmouth Borough Council hereby give notice in pursuance of the above mentioned Regulations that consent has been refused for the display of the advertisement referred to in Part 1 hereof for the following reasons:- The siting of the illuminated sign on the eastern elevation of the building overlooking Church Plain and the type and style of signage proposed is considered contrary to Policies BNV22, BNV25 and BNV26 of the Great yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan which seeks to control advertisements in relation to the built environment and to safeguard the visual amenities and character of the area which is a prominent part of Conservation Area No.5. |
