| 1. | The sign hereby permitted shall be for the advertising of community events only. Advertisements shall be displayed no more than three weeks before the event and shall be removed within four days of the closure of the event.
The reason for the condition is :-
In the interests of the visual amenities of the area. |
| 2. | The dimensions of the sign shall not exceed 5m x 1.5m.
The reason for the condition is :-
For the avoidance of doubt. |
| 3. | The sign shall be sited in the position indicated on the approved plan, on land under the jurisdiction of the applicant, clear of the highway boundary.
The reason for the condition is :-
In the interests of highway safety. |

To satisfy a need for the advertising of local events. |

| 6. | The Highway Authority reserves the right under Section 152 of the Highways Act 1980 and under the general provisions of Common Law to remove any sign causing dazzle, obstruction or nuisance. |
