1.	The erection of three 3-storey dwellings on this site would be an unneighbourly form of development which would have a significant adverse effect on the occupiers of adjoining dwellings. In particular the proposal would severely restrict light to no. 3 Bermondsey Place West which has windows on its west elevation only. This property is already overshadowed by the existing dwelling to its front and the proposed erection of a house in close proximity to the boundary would have an overbearing and oppressive effect on the living conditions of the occupiers of that dwelling. The proposal would therefore be contrary to Policies HOU7, HOU8 and HOU15 of the Great Yarmouth Borough-Wide Local Plan which seek to safeguard the character and form of settlements and protect the amenities of the occupiers of adjoining dwellings.
